If lost or seen by others, everything is compromised. Changes quickly lead to crossing-out and chaos. **LoopO:** a physical key fob with two NFC chips. It stores no complete passwords – only a Base Code (10 characters) and 2-character identifications. The Secret Code stays in your head. If lost, the key fob is useless without the Secret Code. **Plus:** manage accounts in seconds – create, change, delete – instead of crossing-out and chaos. ### Why is LoopO more secure than an Excel file? An Excel file with passwords contains **all 18 characters in plain text**. Anyone who opens the file can log into all accounts immediately. **LoopO never stores a complete password:** only 12 characters (Base Code + Identification) are written on the chip. The remaining **6 characters – the Secret Code – stay in your head**. Whoever finds the key fob has only 12 of 18 characters. The passwords do not work. Additionally: an Excel file can be **stolen remotely, copied without your knowledge or accidentally shared**. You can copy, paste and have everything in one place. **That's why many people use it.** But Excel has one decisive drawback: **if the file is lost, stolen or accidentally falls into the wrong hands, all passwords are compromised at once.** A single incident – laptop lost, malware on the computer, accidental sending – and you have to **reset all accounts**. No. LoopO does not automatically fill in forms and does not integrate into browsers. The routine changes: read the Base Code, add by hand the 6 secret characters and 2 identifications, then type in the 18-character password. This gesture quickly becomes a habit – and guarantees that no remote attacker can ever access your accounts. ### Are passkeys the future? Do I still need LoopO? Yes, passkeys are the future – but we live in a transitional phase: - Not all websites support them (banks, insurance companies, government agencies) - Older devices do not support them - No unified standard between Apple and Android - If a device is lost or fails, a fallback password is often needed **LoopO complements passkeys perfectly:** for everyday accounts (streaming, shops, forums), passkeys suffice. Yes. An attacker would have to try **5.31 × 10¹¹ (531 billion)** combinations. To compromise an account, they would have to physically steal your LoopO, access both NFC chips, guess your Secret Code, and know the account-specific identification. Resistance is significantly higher than a classic 12-character password. ### Does LoopO protect against phishing? Yes, thanks to the identifications. A password stolen on a fake website contains a specific identification (e.g. CB) and is useless on the real site, which expects a different identification. Additionally: when the long Base Code is pasted, an attacker only sees the end of the code – not the whole code. ### Is LoopO resistant to quantum computer attacks? Yes, by design. Quantum computers threaten systems that store encrypted data in the cloud or on central servers. LoopO works **100% offline**: no data on servers, no transmission, no database to crack. The option **«Protect NFC tag against writing»** is irreversible.
